Paul Friedrich Theodore Miersch
Two Pieces, op. 27. Composed in 1900, these two short works for violin and piano are representative of Miersch’s mastery of late Romanticism. These compositions — “Elegy” and “Wiegenlied (Cradle Song)” — are excellent pieces for the more advanced violin student. This edition fingered and edited by John Craton.
